The Story Begins

Project overview

Jasmine Building Services is a growing cleaning company offering home cleaning, commercial cleaning, post-construction cleaning, carpet care, deep cleaning, and move-in/move-out services. Despite strong offline operations, the business faced a major limitation: they did not have a website.

My role was to design a clean, trustworthy, and conversion-focused website on Wix, focusing on clarity, SEO structure, and a simple user experience that supports both residential and commercial clients.

The Challenge

Jasmine Building Services needed its first website to establish a professional digital presence. However, the company faced several challenges:

  • No existing online presence

  • Customers were unclear about available cleaning services

  • No simple way for users to request a quote

  • No defined brand voice or visual identity

  • Competitors already had polished, modern websites

"How might I design a professional, trustworthy website that encourages users to request a quote quickly?"

Design Goal

Create a user-friendly, trustworthy website that quickly communicates services, builds confidence, and turns visitors into qualified leads. Success metrics are as follows:

01

Visibility: Increase search traffic through SEO optimization.

02

Lead Generation: Make it simple for clients to request quotes

03

Trust Building: Showcase work quality with visuals

04

User Experience: Provide a clean, modern, accessible interface

Research and Insight

Design begins with empathy

I initiated the research phase to understand Jasmine Building Services’ business goals, user expectations, and market landscape. Because the business had no existing website or digital footprint, this phase was critical to shaping the foundation of the design solution.

Research Method

To deeply understand both the business needs and user expectations, I applied a mixed-method research approach, which helped me to uncover insights quickly and cost-effectively.

Discussed goals, service offerings, and challenges in attracting new clients without a website.

Client Interview

01

Reviewed five commercial cleaning websites to identify best practices, design gaps, and missed conversion opportunities.

         Competitor Analysis

02

Collected informal feedback from potential clients to learn what builds trust when hiring cleaning services.

User Feedback

03

Key Insight

From this research phase, three strong themes emerged:

Insight Type

  • Client Goal

  • Competitor Gap

  • User Need

What We Learned

  • Build trust and attract more inquiries

  • Most lacked clear CTAs or credibility proof

  • Users want quick, transparent communication

Design Opportunity

  • Highlight professionalism and reliability through visuals, testimonials, and certifications

  • Add visible “Request a Quote” buttons and display credentials clearly

  • Create short, scannable service pages with instant contact options

" We want clients to feel confident choosing Jasmine Building Services at first glance."

Ideation

Concept development

With clear insights from the research phase, I began transforming user needs and business goals into a structured design direction.

Clear Information Hierarchy

Key details about services, team, and contact options are organized for instant access.

Trust-Building Elements

Certifications, testimonials, and visuals highlight reliability.

Smooth Quote Inquiry Flow

A simplified inquiry form reduced clicks and improved user completion rates.

Information Architecture

I structured the website to facilitate quick scanning and establish trust. The goal was for users to find what they needed in three clicks or fewer.

The sitemap organizes content into a clear hierarchy, highlights essential trust elements, and ensures frictionless access to the “Request a Quote” page.

From Wireframes to High‑Fidelity UI

I started with low‑fidelity sketches to explore structure and CTA placement. Once the hierarchy was defined, I moved into Figma to build responsive mid‑ and high‑fidelity screens.

Branding & Style Guide

In a market full of cleaning services, Jasmine needed a voice that mattered. The identity we created is clear, confident, and impossible to ignore. It communicates reliability at a glance, while making a distinct, lasting impression.

Every element — from logo to color palette, from typography to imagery — is intentional. Each choice reinforces trust, professionalism, and clarity, giving the brand a bold, modern, and unique presence.

Logo

A minimal red J combined with a subtle curved stroke gives the mark a modern, trustworthy feel.

The star adds the finishing touch—symbolizing cleanliness, quality, and reliability, key traits of the brand.

Paired with a Montserrat, the overall mark feels trustworthy, approachable, and aligned with a brand focused on quality

Building Services Inc.

  • Primary usage: Used across the website header, homepage, and all key marketing materials to maintain a consistent brand presence.

  • Minimum size: To preserve clarity and detail, the logo should never appear below 120px in width in any digital or print application.

  • Scalability: The logo was tested across different scales, ensuring it remains sharp and legible on mobile screens and invoices.

To complement the logo, I created a simple, structured style guide from scratch. It defined brand colors, typography, and icons to ensure consistency across all touchpoints — from website to marketing materials.
