Hi,I'm Sonam Chauhan
My path to design didn’t start with screens—it started in a bank in India, where I learned how to listen, build trust, and understand people. Those lessons followed me as I moved into UX/UI design in the U.S., and later to Canada, where I now create human-centered digital experiences.
I’ve worked on nonprofit platforms and small business websites, always focused on simplifying complex problems and designing with empathy and purpose.
Driven by curiosity and continuous learning, I continue to refine my skills in UX research, interaction design, and visual design to craft intuitive and meaningful experiences.
Outside of design, I’m a parent who loves exploring new places—experiences that shape how I design, think, and connect with people.

I start by bringing clarity to complexity. Through research, stakeholder conversations, and pattern analysis, I align user needs with business goals and technical constraints. I don’t just accept the brief — I refine it. A clear problem definition drives strong outcomes.
Design with intent
I translate insights into scalable, user-centered solutions. Every interaction, layout, and flow is intentional — grounded in research and built to support measurable impact. I design systems, not just screens, ensuring consistency and collaboration across teams.
Validate and improve
I treat design as an ongoing process, not a final handoff. Through usability testing, experimentation, and performance analysis, I validate assumptions and refine experiences based on real insights.
